Probably in broad strokes though - this new article seems to be more about the detail of the region. |

I didn't know about Doggerland. Certainly, it wasn't something that was covered in Geography at school. |

I'm sure we've all known there was a land bridge connecting the British Isles with mainland Europe. What's happened over the past decade or so is confirmation of the size and scale of the dry land in what is now the North Sea and English Channel that existing before the last glaciation. Palaeontologists now have a much better picture of the landscape, flora and fauna. |
