The X Factor's Simon Cowell says he is "puzzled" about why BBC One's The Voice is not on the radio instead of TV.

Cowell told BBC Radio 4's Today programme that if the BBC's show was "all about the voice" then "what's the point of looking at them?"

We can answer that question buy saying “Susan Boyle”.

Simon Cowell is just annoyed that his cash cow of a programme is threatened by a rival programme where the contestents can actualy sing.

+1

I gather a dog won his circus side show this year. I bet he's pissed off by that because his record company can't immediately exploit that one.

The dog's probably being given singing lessons as we speak. Can be no worse than some of Cowell's other signings. :P

I like that we're currently in a recession, posturing that we're still a great nation - and an Olympic host to boot - and apparently the best act we can muster is a performing dog.
Brilliant work, GB.

Best act or most popular act? The two are most definitely not the same thing.

(I've not seen either so no idea how the format works but most of these things seem to be public vote).

Wow, SC has said something unkind about a rival. Purely out of a sense of civic duty, and not at all to whip up a little media storm to keep the competition in the papers.

*yawn*

Most popular of those acts who are prepared to debase themselves by appearing on a show with Simon Cowell.
