Having more than 50% of the births does not necessarily mean having more than 50% of the population. Although if that hasn't been reached yet then I don't think it would take too long.

LOL! I was thinking that also.

If there are 2 apples, 3 oranges, 4 kiwis and 5 bananas then bananas make up less than half the bowl, but they're still the most numerous fruit.
