Yes, let's punish everyone on the basis that the minority are arseholes and you can't be arsed tackling the historic societal problem

From the moment you remove the cap you realise you're in for a treat. Fresh, bright, smoky, with a mineral edge and rounded, fruity nose. Midweight and bold, possessing some edge and no little bite, yet remaining smooth, balanced and satisfying. This is a drink to enjoy with friends in a park. Highly recommended.

Have I lived in London too long? A minimum price of 50p for a unit seems like practically nothing to me and I can't help but think of this as merely a small chav tax.

I think that's unfair though. If anyone is to benefit, the government may as well. If not them then the supplier.

The suppliers may well charge more so as to split the extra profit with the shops.

IMO this won't work. People who want to get wasted will still do it, they'll just spend less on other things.

It won't affect me on wine, but it's going to seriously affect me on cider. Not enough to change my habits though.

If this had been introduced in my student days then it would have affect me - these days my wine is more than the min price (but it might affect some multibuy discounts) and so is my beer. I dont drink cider so not an issue

Cheapest bottle I have bought was £3.50 for Devils Cove from Asda (bit nasty tasting wine) that would go up to about £4

That isn't much of an increase on wine, but on stuff like cider it really is
