What are the NUJ and that 'media journalist' on? :o :?

Hopefully The Scum will die a horrible death like the NOTW, it's nothing but a self-serving mouthpiece to be used by the corrupt and corrupting

Anyone wanting to see if the PayWall experiment will work long term is likely to be disappointed in the results.

Signatures just distract from the content of the post and should not, therefore be used

Surely that should be "...and should, therefore, not be used."

Or even "... and should not, therefore, be used."

There's definitely a comma missing somewhere.

Now, what was the main topic?

:D

Or one comma too many. To wit:

Signatures just distract from the content of the post and therefore should not be used

The Guardian and Independent, for instance, are nowhere near Murdoch's 'standards'. Currently at least.

It sells though. In bucket loads. People want the tittle-tattle, right-wing reactionary sensationalism. If anyone is to blame, ultimately it's the people who buy the papers who are funding and condoning the methods. The moral outrage s being driven by guilt in a lot of quarters.

Hardly. It sells more than the others do, but all newspapers have had falling circulations for years.
