So, the first high profile hire by the new CEO of Apple isJohn Browent, ex of Dixons retail customer service.

Macworld Clicky

I'm guessing nobody at Apple US asked anyone in the UK if that was a good idea.

God Steve's barely cold in the ground and the slide's begun.

Katie Price is now in charge of Design.

And they're getting the motherboards from Amstrad.

I'd love it if Sir Clive Sinclair was at Apple.

At least the rubber keys would be an improvement on the crap keyboards they have now...

That would require Rick Dickinson replacing Jony Ive then.

Worst. Keyboard. Ever.
Seriously. That rubber keyboard was just awful. No feel. At least the scrabble tiles sound and feel good.

That's rather my point - they don't.

If it's not a Model M, it sucks.

After a few years of a Scrabble the keyboard, I find a regular keyboard uncomfortable to use. When those keyboards came out, I noted at the time that they reminded me of the Z88 - and apart from the "dead flesh" feel, I found that a pretty useable keyboard.
