I have to say that in Odeon’s weekly email I get, they don’t mention that the film is silent. I can’t say if the film publicity does or not because I haven’t seen any. However, it’s been in the news enough in various art segments. Oh. :lol:

somevery good french films that i didnt mind watching in the original language with sub titles, I generally cant stad dubbed versions,
Jean de Florette ,Manon des Sources, Le pacte des loups and la femme Nikita

I prefer all movies and series to be in their original language, if you overdub or (even worse) create an English version you lose much of the atmosphere of a movie.

I couldn't agree more. I'm slightly dismayed by people who say they won't watch a subtitled film on the grounds that they can't read at the same time as watching the screen :shock:
