The key word here being “could” as in “it won’t happen”.

Exactly. Even if it did cut the actual cost of car insurance, hands up who thinks the insurance companies will pass those savings on to their customers?

That and given the cost of the payouts the people that really make any money are the solicitors and they will just be private claims instead

When me and the gf were hit from behind last October we still have jip from ours every now and again, especially on cold days. It's not pleasant to say the least
