The BBC are really plugging this little computer. I’m not surprised, given the heritage it has, and the BBC’s previous foray into educational computing (which would not be allowed these days).

Quote:
A test version of the Raspberry Pi computer has attracted bids of more than £3,000 in a fund-raising auction on eBay. With the machine about to start its first major production run, could it be the right tool to revitalise computer science in schools?

£3000! Blimey - I’ll wait for the production models to flow out before pondering the £22 it would cost to buy a “Model B”. It may even fit on my Lego ZX81 model too!

I have, in the planning stages, an Acorn Electron Lego model. Like the ZX81, it should be as close to full size as I can get it.
