Far as I can see, the only real problem will be if the stores don't pass on the savings in the future when prices come back down...

They will lose their customers if they do not reduce them again when prices fall.

I'm not sure they will - who else is selling clothing that cheaply?
If the prices drop I'd hope, somewhat futilely I'm sure, that they'd pass on the extra to the workers.

Would that be the wages at the overseas manufacturers or in the stores here? Both could do with higher wages.

I think that the prices would drop fast as they are in a very competitive market.
