Bloomberg and Om Malik are reporting that a new Facebook branded phone will be coming to Europe early next year, with it going on to the USA in the second half of 2011.
The 'phone sounds like Facebook's version of the Microsoft Kin, although the device, made by IQN, may run Android under the Facebook skin.
American tech news, generally, can't see it as being a success, although a few have noted that for the elderly and tweenies (yeuch, what is that for a word?), it might be a good option - as long as it gets Flash, so that they can keep their farms going, whilst out and about, it might work...
