NHS data will not be sold to insurance companies, Jeremy Hunt says

http://www.theguardian.com/society/2014 ... eremy-hunt

No, it's liable to be GIVEN to them there'll be so many holes in the system. And trust Jeremy Hunt? The man who was wiring off Team Murdoch?

Quote:
30. Jeremy Hunt: MP for South-West Surrey. Received a donation to his office of £3,000 in June 2012, just under 3 months from when he was made health secretary, from U.S-based hedge fund CEO Andrew Law. Mr Law is the CEO of Caxton Associates who as of November 2011, owned a market value of $217.659 million in healthcare. Andrew Law has given £231,530 to the Conservative party, all but £3,000 of this in 2012. Electoral Commission

The missus said I have a letter at home marked House Of Commons.
I'm amazed my MP responded to the letter I wrote. The first and only time I have ever done so.

I *think* they have to respond by law...

... or something like that.

NHS England patient data 'uploaded to Google servers', Tory MP says

http://www.theguardian.com/society/2014 ... le-servers

So there's 27 DVDs floating about somewhere too, in private hands.

Only 27? No one made copies (other than the Google upload)?

Don't worry the NSA, FSB, GCHQ have all made backups just in case.

Do you think that they will put everyone that they flog our data too on the list?

NHS data-sharing 'a no-brainer', says health chief

http://www.theguardian.com/society/2014 ... alth-chief

First of all, genius, next to nobody believes this is purely about benefiting society. It's about commercial profit more than anything else, we've all been around long enough to know that. The time-frame for it's introduction alone was so obviously sneaky.

Secondly, it's a ridiculous amount of data being handed over in an age where it can and has been lost, deciphered, traded, stolen, you name it. No government assurance will stop that.

Thirdly, all the statistics in the world won't change individual cases or outbreaks. You could actually be making the profit/benefit to society ratio even worse in the long term!

So piss off.

Looks like they scrapped this finally, having spent millions on it already. Hopefully that'll be the end and it won't rear its ugly head in any other form.
