Post subject:  New Camera
Hi guys,

Was looking for some help choosing a new camera, the old one appears to have died on me (was rubbish anyway, sony cybershot). I tried looking through some of the threads in here but i didnt understand what people were on about, i'm a bit of a photography noob. Basically i want a camera for landscape shots, not really interested in taking photos of people.

My budget is £150 maybe £200. Not a great budget i know but everyone has to start somewhere.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Lanscapes would benefit from a wide lens (in 35mm equivalent terms) and most manufacturers have cameras starting from 25mm upwards. It would also be good to have at least some manual control for longer exposures - sunset/sunrise - and a tripod mount I guess.

A quick look shows models with wide angle lenses such as Fuji F80EXR, Cybershot W380, Cooplix L110, Finepix S2500HD and Cybershot H55 to name a few. I cant comment on quality or any manual modes they might feature but they are all within your budget.
