Nice article. Would I be right in saying though that although the field of view on a cropped sensor will be different the perspective will remain the same, e.g: 50mm on crop = equiv FOV approx 75mm but retains natural perspective of 50mm 35mm on crop = equiv FOV approx 50mm but with the wider perspective of 35mm |

Depends what you mean. Apart from the depth of field, a 35mm cropped shot and a 50mm FF shot will look identical. |

Yeah that is what I mean. I was always lead to believe the FOV would be identical (as in your example above) but the perspective will differ. I'm not saying its right mind you, its only what I've been told. |
