I have a bit of a photography blog going on...mainly photography with a bit of linux mixed in. http://www.techbeast.net It's very much a work in progress and some of the pictures don't have descriptions yet. |

photozone.de has a good number of lens reviews for Canon/Nikon/Pentax/Sony/four-thirds systems. There is some other stuff as well and despite the URL the site is in English |

Just stumbled upon this one, which may as well go in here as it might prove handy for the curious - Depth of Field Calculator. Seems fairly comprehensive. |

http://speedliting.com/ It's a really new site created by Syl Arena, that's still being finished and content added, but it provides lots of information for those looking to use Canon Speedlites to great effect, much as I believe Scott Bourne does for Nikon. |

http://www.CameraPriceBuster.co.uk is of my favourite sites for pricing, it's good to watch how the pricing changes, certainly of the more top end DSLR and lens kit, it's saved me several hundreds over the past few years. My other favourites (probably already mentioned) are: http://www.cambridgeincolour.com/tutorials.htm - fantastic tutorials and information, even for advanced users, this is a real gem. http://www.dpreview.com (if they covered every lens available, this would be the only site I'd visit for reviews!) http://www.the-digital-picture.com (especially the Canon lens reviews, which are superb) http://www.cameralabs.com (good reviews, and the video content is nice) |

I've been unsure as to whether or not I should post this link here or not, but here goes: Photo.Stackexchange.com This is a Stack Exchange site that is currently in Public Beta, and will ultimately have its own domain name. Just a bit of background:
As you can probably tell, I'm somewhat biassed as it is a site I've been a member of through the earlier phases and private beta (which took place over the last 7 days) and I'm also a Stack Overflow user as well, but I think it is a valid and useful resource. Essentially, my synopsis would be something like this: A question and answer site for non-subjective matters relating to photography. |

A couple of links from me … Improve Photography Seven by Five The second one has a lot of Northern Ireland based contributors. They also involve the members of it's Flickr group a lot, setting monthly themes in the grop and featuring a selection of their best submitted picks of the month on their site. Mark |

Is anyone else having trouble accessing the Creator and Download pages on this site? I'm running Windows 7 and it doesn't seem to work with either IE9, Firefox, Opera or Chrome... Edit to add: I'm getting a 504 Gateway Timeout Error. |

I only looked at the online version using FF4 and it worked then. Problem loading page now. EDIT - Not sure why the online version isn't working but there is a photoshop template that should be openable with GIMP. Just downloaded it now so link is working but haven't checked the usefullness of the file. |

Before they pass away is the website of photographer Jimmy Nelson. He's travelled the world searching out and documenting lost tribes of indigenous people. Very impressive work IMO. |
