Post W00t! new macro lens on the way!
Hi all,

finally decided on my choice of lens for some macro photography. I was torn between the Sigma 105mm and the Nikkor 105mm AFS VRII. After a great deal of head scratching, humming and harring I finally decided on the Nikkor.

Is anyone else here using it? If so what are your thoughts on it? I'm particularly interested to hear any comments on the VR facility.

I don't have any macro lens Stuart but I'm very much looking forward to seeing the results you get from it. Well done on the purchase.

Don't have the Nikkor, but some of those I've taken with a 90mm Tamron are here
