Ok, been redoing my Dad's website (he makes furniture) and I have something of a problem, in that all the photos he has taken are a bit, well, rubbish really. This is partly due to his camera not being that great at all, and also his not being great at taking photos. Now I am going to be up that neck of the woods at Easter, so was thinking about hiring a camera to get decent photos for the website.

Anyone any suggestions for what to hire / where to hire from?

Will probably need to be digital as I don't want the hassle of converting print into digital at later date.

They are UK based but I have no personal experience of using them, though I do notice they have a testimonials section under the About Us link.

I was looking at http://camerent.co.uk/ a while ago for something.
Whatever it was, it didn't happen, so I can't say yay or nay for their services.

FWIW, Have you considered the deposit and cost involved compared to buying a second-hand camera for the job then either selling afterwards or keeping it for the next lot of stock to be posted upon the website ?

Hi guys.

I've had a look at a couple of the sites and I do think that including deposit it's going to end up rather pricey all told. May have to try another strategy for this one.
