Tamron 18-270mm f/3.5-6.3 Di-II VC LD Asph. AF Macro Lens for Select Canon Digital SLR

Need your help please peeps - what's the cheapest you can find the above in the UK inc. delivery, if possible ;)

I know bugger all about such things

I'm doing this as a favour for someone but I'm not gonna get into the specifics of lenses etc with them, so don't you worry about it either - far as I'm concerned that's their problem ;)

Amazon are listing it at £409 (can't vouch for delivery as it looks like a third party store).

Clickty

Warehouse Express, which are usually the best price on the net and include delivery have it for £448.99.

Clickety

Really? I have a 28-300mm, which isn't far off the same. I didn't think it was that unusual, to be honest.

I guess it depends on the aperture of the lens.

Perhaps it's out dated these days, but I thought the advice was to stick to zooms with a 3x factor - so a 18-55mm, or a 70-200mm for example.

I still reckon it's best to come over here to buy camera stuff. And I also think you need to buy more camera stuff (8-p)
