Lexar have unveiled a new 600x Compact Flash card with a guaranteed minimum write speed of 90MB/s. Available in 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB capacities, the Lexar Professional 600x CF card works with the latest UDMA 6 enabled cameras, including the Canon EOS 5D Mark II, EOS 7D and the new 1D Mark IV, and the Nikon D3x, D3s and D300s.

Does it actually work at that speed with your camera? Or do you have a D3x/s? I thought yours a D3?

Mine's a D3 so in terms of camera writing speed it won't make a difference, but in terms of transferring images to the computer it'd make a huge difference, especially if my plans go ahead and I end up with a 17" MBP.

Someone handed in a 1GB Fujifilm SD card today at work. I wasn't allowed to look at what was on it though. :(
