Been looking around for a good deal on an 8mm f3.5 Circular Fisheye Sigma lens to slap on my Canon. Mostly needed for panorama photography (thus cutting the current shot count from 16+ to 4 or 5). The lens usually retails from between £700 - £800 (unless you know better). I thought I’d give Jessops a go - and there the lens is - £79.00!

I phoned them up. I know that TVs have gone for silly money on Amazon in the past, and then sales cancelled or buyers asked for the rest afterwards. So I phone Jessops up, only to be told that the items has been discontinued. A shame - if they had said it was available at that price, I could have driven to a store that stocked it to pick it up, and still saved myself some cash.

Oh, well. Back to my searching.

That lens is for Sigma AF, not Canon AF, so it wouldn't fit would it?

They asked me on the phone what fit I was after. I told them Canon.
