I took these pictures with a bouncing migraine. I am not garnering sympathy, but I thought I’d share my experiences with the camera. When I get a migraine, I can get interrupted vision. I don’t get the pain that some get, but I do get a feeling that I am being smothered. This time, instead of resting somewhere, I was out with a camera, and I was determined to use it. I suffered a bad attack of confusion. The numbers on my camera - f-stop, shutter speed etc., all made no sense at all. I could not for the life of me figure out how to adjust them to make the correct exposure. I just prodded settings until they seemed to work.

I have never, ever been confused in that way before; I’m not talking mild bewilderment, but that I was holding something totally alien and incomprehensible. I hope that doesn’t happen again.

Anyway, here are the pictures. I think they came out OK considering.

Seen 'em and commented on 'em already.
I didn't know the hardships you had while taking them while commenting.

I have heard of those symptoms being associated with a migraine before. When I get a migraine, it's just a splitting headache and nausea for me - (un)fortunately I remain compos mentis enough to be fully aware of what's happening to me!

I get weekend migraines - if I sleep beyond the usual mid-week wakeup time I get a headache that no painkillers will touch, ruining my weekend. Vision goes a bit funny and I have to make sure I get everything done that I need to by about mid-day when it starts becoming more intense.

Kudos for the determination!

I hate migraines! I can normally catch them early enough with painkillers...unless I wake up with them, which is a bitch! Nothing will touch them, I just have to lie down and suffer for a day or two. If I stand up with a migraine I'm normally sick within 60 seconds.
