Nice. Did she buy the kit? Of she did she can claim a free 50-230mm lens from Fujifilm! http://free-fujifilm-lens.co.uk |

I've no idea - but I'll pass that link along to her. Thanks! |

I was just wondering about her rational for the decision. Mark |

Her email said 'mainly because of the cost and I found it easiest to use'. I've played with a friends Fuji X-Pro1, and it's lovely. I'm very impressed with the Fuji stuff. Fun to shoot with and the results are pretty amazing - I'd happily carry one as a main body instead of a DSLR. |

I've played as well. The AF is quick and for general use I think they're tough to beat. No reach, but there's no way around that and for most people/applications that's not an issue. Would be a lot easier than carrying 2.5kgs and a bag with me all the time! |

Well, if you want things that are far away there's the 55-200mm lens (35mm equivalent 84-305 mm) - http://www.fujifilm.eu/eu/products/digital-cameras/fujinon-x-mount-lenses/model/fujinon-xf55-200mmf35-48-r-lm-ois/ |
