Hey guys, hope everybody had a good Christmas. Just uploaded a few things to my new Flickr. Was wondering if you guys could please give me some feedback on the shots I've selected. Been experimenting since I got down here and would just be interested to see what you think...

Thanks :)

I think whatever you're doing is working. Keep doing it.
Think about investing in a circular polarising filter as/when you can, cos it'll make things look ossome.

Indeed, they're very good overall. I particularly like _2570 (the two sled dogs) and _2411 (the skier carving a turn).

This is just my preference but... I tend to take 'landscape' shots without people in the foreground because I think they tend to take attention away from the landscape itself. But if it fits the composition then fine and it's as a I say a matter of preference.

I think these may look better if you were lying down in the snow.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

Thanks guys. Very helpful.

Got first private excursion clients on Thursday, but at the moment, the sheer mountain of Italians here is making me lose the will to go out. It's insanely busy everywhere, but got a bunch more shots to get off my card either today or tomorrow...
