If you've got even deeper pockets, there's a one-off Jonathon Ive designed version going up for auction.

Sadly not - Google suggests it's 'going to be designed by Ive', so we'll have to wait and see.
But yeah, it'll be interesting to see how far from Leica's lovely simple design he goes, or if he simplifies it even further.

Ive's a lifelong fan of the German/European school of design. Quite a lot of his stuff is inspired by/ripped off from (delete as appropriate) Dieter Rams. I suspect if he makes a camera with Leica, it's going to look a lot like a Leica. In fact, if he made a camera with anyone, it'd look a lot like a Leica.

3080mm

Shown at Photokina is the new Pentax 560mm telephoto lens attached (presumably for comedy effect) to the Pentax Q10. That's a 35mm equivalent focal length of 3080mm!

I can excuse £5k for a Leica. This I cannot.....

Hasselblad Lunar

Hasselblad plans to release a mirrorless interchangeable lens camera utilizing Sony's E-Mount. The Hasselblad Lunar, which is expected to cost around €5000 (~$6500) appears to share a lot of technology with Sony's recent NEX-7 model, including the same 24.3MP CMOS sensor, OLED 'True Finder' EVF, and the 'TriNavi' navigation system. The Lunar, which is set for launch in the first quarter of 2013, will be available 'in a choice of standard models plus a variety of exclusive hand grips and precious materials on special order.'

I might be proven wrong but this looks like it's nothing more than a NEX-7 in posh clothes. Oh, it's also ugly and expensive.
