I've used Ffordes, London Camera Exchange and Mifsuds in the past for 2nd hand gear. I would use any of them again. |

Mifsuds are sort of my local shop. Lots of the locals really don't like them. Certainly one friend was done out of a lens in a bundle that had been agreed before purchase. When I was going to trade in an AF Minolta body for an MF Minolta body I rang them and was told over the phone that yeah, that's fine, bring it down. After about a 40 minute drive, finding and paying for parking (Brixham's not exactly blessed with lots of space), they refused to do the deal. Some of the worst customer service and some of the highest prices on some items I've ever seen; it's a mystery to me how they're still trading. |
