I need some help.

I'm trying to work up a portfolio of my bestest shots.
Trouble is, I'm no where near impartial enough; I'm a terrible editor of my own work.

If you fancy chiming in, I'd really appreciate it.
My Flickr, for those of you who don't know it already, is http://www.flickr.com/photos/onemanrace/sets/
You can disregard anything starting with an 'S', as it's been taken with a teeny tiny digicam.

Oh, and getting 18 year old models to make up their minds about when and where for photo shoots is like nailing jelly to a wall.
She's like a candle in the wind.

Unreliable.

Right, first things first, before I go through your entire Flickr Photostream I checked my Favourite images and this one and this one are both there, so I'd start with those.

Combine this, this and this in to one image and I think it'd be pretty cool, especially as part of a portfolio.

I'm going to bed now but I'll look at more tomorrow (Friday).

Right, so your photostream is just too damn interesting to leave and go to bed, but having just looked through it all I'd like to add suggestion #8 and #9 and I think I'll leave it there.

Point of note 1.
You don't have nearly enough shots of E-Type Jags. Please rectify.

Point of note 2.
I really wanted to include an image of the red Beetle, but I think all the others above are stronger portfolio material.

Point of note 3.
You have a few duplicate images around page 75-77.

Point of note 4.
What an excellent way to get your stats up! (8+p

I've been meaning to post some suggestions, but there are so many really good images there I'd not know where to start.

Perhaps one of those 4am images with the boat. I love those.

Cheers both. :)

That's given me some idea of where to start. I think a print run and laying them all out on the table might be in order.
It's going to take some time to build up, as I'll be getting the negs re-scanned to a proper resolution, and locally that's about £9 per frame.
Still, no rush.

You know I'd offer, but then it would take forever.

I keep thinking about a dedicated neg/slide scanner. It might be quicker than the flatbed and adapter.

Oh, did you get a package from M&M recently?
