I would think that if you were engaged in terrorist acts that you would be well aware of this by now and would be taking steps.

It would be fairly easy to evade long term problems if you had any form of smart phone.

1 - take picture

2 - upload to server using phone's 3g or wifi capability

3 - delete picture from phone

If you are challenged, you may only have one or two pictures to show for it on the phone.

If the police and govt. aren't aware of this by now, they should be DSLR users are, by far, morelikely to be engaged in legal activity than not, even If they can get annoying at times.

Lets not let rational thought get in the way of a paranoid power-trip. One person was arrested for photographing a manhole cover - how the hell do you tie that to terrorism!? Surely an ordinance survey map, google earth or even an A-Z would be more useful!?
