I would agree not to pick a Sony, they're fine but over priced considering they used a lot of samsung components the majority of screens are sammy's, I have a 23" 1080p in my bedroom. For me that's fine good quality picture the size is perfect not too big or small.

If you're going to watch br movies then I would say 32 minimum. If you find a tv you like check out John Lewis it might be cheaper if not they price match but the selling point with them is they offer a free 5 year warranty.

If you pick a larger than 32 inch tv wall mounting becomes more expensive and risky to do yourself. Just something to consider.

I don't think John Lewis do the price match on electrical goods?

You need to check but I'm sure they would.

Just moved house and the bedroom is frickin huge. The missus is now complaining she cannot see the TV. Its a 32"

I did joke we should move the 32 to the spare room, the 42 to the bedroom and then get something bigger for the lounge. She didnt catch the joke and seemed quite keen on the idea! Oh dear.

It would be nice but I defo dont need a bigger TV in the lounge. Plus I've just had to fork out for Freesat HD.

My mate has recently downgraded from a 50" plasma to my old 14" CRT portable, due to an incident involving a two year old and a Duplo brick.

They can't afford a new TV for the foreseeable future. By the time they can, I suspect a 32" screen will look absolutely HUGE

If you want to give it to me, you could buy yourself another. ;)

I bought a 32" for my bedroom. It was £350 before I used some vouchers. It is not that big in the room, it is a nice size actually.
