Hi,

So, I bought a UHD TV, and have upgraded PCTV, (The PC that I play my media from) and am now in need of an amp to take care of the surround sound. I can't use the PC's surround, because the amp will always connect the Sky box to the telly.

Has anyone here got experience of 4K amps, and if so do you have any suggestions, please?

Thanks.

:)

Edit to add: I found THIS but I don't know enough about this to know if there is better out there for a similar price.

I've connected an optical audio cable from the TV to the Amp so I'm not in urgent need of an amp, as plugging the pc into the telly will now give 4k resolution with surround sound.

I will need an amp at some stage, so any suggestions gratefully received.

If you can afford the extra 100 quid, I'd go for the 481 rather than the 381. Wifi is very useful for steaming & etc. Plus the 4K pass through will save you a lot of tinkering.

The Wi-Fi part is irrelevant, as everything is wired, but the 4K passthrough could be useful. Thanks for the heads up. :)
