| not sure if this does go in here but dont know were else to put it basically, on my freeview box everyso often it will sort of skip like 2 seconds and i will go no sound this is fine but rather annoying however its more annoying on bbc2, were it makes a screatching sound and skips both audio and visual for about 10 seconds before going back to normal i dont remember getting this problem with my old freeview box, but that died when the switchover came on, so could it just be this box ? also it doesnt do this on the in built freeview on the tv downstairs, | |

| my dads freeview box does this, dont know what the cause is, and have never seen it happen on any freeview box in my house (and we have about 7) | |

| Are you using an amplified aerial? You might have either too much or too little signal going in to the box. As different boxes & TV's have different sensitivity tuners it would explain why the other one is fine. | |
