I bought a pair of Bose Triport IE3 earphones about 4 years ago and absolutely loved them... until (I think) I left them in a courtesy car that was then returned to the car hire company.

Ever since then I've been using the standard Apple earphones and they've done the job but are nowhere near as nice (or as comfortable). The only bonus is that they have the microphone and 3 button controls for the iPhone.

So anyway, I just bought a pair of these...

OMG! The sound is absolutely amazing! I'm no audio freak but my god! I'm just listening to Queen and it's amazing how much of it I've been missing! Hi-hats are a completely new revelation to me! LOL!

They're extremely comfortable too. Bought them from Comet as they had 20% off until tomorrow
